Its a hole- in- the wall lunch spot. Food is fine for something quick, but the big dude at the register is rude as hell. He stands outside and is uninviting... you all trying to make money? If so, be more hospitable. A simple thank you goes along way in life.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and some French fries while killing some time between appointments. No frills. Decent food. They had a large dining area but no bath room to use which was a bummer!

Incredible sandwich (Combo.) Delicious beef and sausage cooked ready to order with a pairing of home made sweet and spicy pepper. Hold the phone. The handcut fries, were cooked to perfection. I'm talking crisp, I'm talking crackle, I'm talking an expletive laced debacle. Stop settling for average, you deserve a meal at Mr. Beef!

This is a Chicago institution and possibly the best Italian beef I've ever eaten, and I've had more than my fair share. The fries compliment this as well. It's also very affordable, but is cash only. My only gripe, I wish they had a sink to wash hands. They have wet towelettes, but this sandwich is too juicy for that. This is a must stop every time I'm in Chicago, no question, and I usually take a pound or two of beef back with me when I leave.

Good sandwiches but I wish their were more veggies. The Italian sandwich was my favorite. If you love a ton of meat on bread this is your place.
